This Teachers' Lounge, organized in collaboration with the AATSEEL K-12 Teacher Excellence Program, offers two questions for consideration:

1. How do we create and execute engaging lessons and classroom activities to sustain student attention and promote active participation? 
2. How do we effectively teach students of mixed proficiency levels in one classroom?

Join pre-college teachers from the current and prior TEP cohort as we share effective strategies to address some of the most vexing questions.

The AATSEEL K-12 Teacher Excellence Program is a selective professional engagement program that seeks to recognize and support excellence in the teaching of Russian at the K-12 level. The program consists of professional development and mentoring in the first year, and professional engagement/presentation and leadership in the second year.
