ACTR Anti-Harassment Policy Statement |
The American Council of Teachers of Russian is committed to providing a harassment-free environment in all of its meetings, activities, professional fora and communications, whether in-person or digital, and regardless of the gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, home language, race, age, religion, citizenship status or other factors relating to personal or group identity of participants. The organization will not tolerate harassment in any form of our members or participants in ACTR programs, publications, or activities.
All members and participants in ACTR programs, publications, or activities will act with the highest level of professionalism, collegiality, and mutual respect in keeping with the principles of diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion that are central to the mission of the organization. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from ACTR activities and/or termination of membership.
