Our students truly appreciate the engaging activities that are a part of our Russian Language classrooms, virtual or in-person, and we hope that SLAVA might be included among the highlights of your language programs.

What is SLAVA? SLAVA, the National High School Slavic Honor Society, serves to recognize excellence and spark interest in the study of Slavic languages among high school students.  We would like to introduce ourselves to you and offer assistance in the following areas:

• Starting a new chapter of SLAVA in your high school’s program
• Helping to re-activate an existing, but not active, chapter
• Inducting new members in an active chapter
• Soliciting news from active chapters to share among members
